The Worcester County Consumer Mediation Project is a non-profit organization that provides free information and mediation to area consumers when they encounter problems with businesses. We do not give legal advice and cannot enforce laws. Mediation services are offered only upon receipt of a written complaint. For more information about the mediation process, please click on the "mediation" button at left. Our staff of trained volunteer mediators will help anyone who calls, but only consumers who live in our 31-community area may request mediation services. (Please see the list of our cities and towns below.) Residents of other communities seeking mediation will be referred to the consumer agency that covers their area. For information and/or a complaint form, call (508) 849-3274 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. The office is generally closed on federal and state holidays.
