The Molly Bish Center of Anna Maria College serves as a vital source of information, education, training, collaboration, and networking for media, law enforcement personnel, public service professionals, first responders, and the community at large. The Center provides leadership in mobilizing individuals, families, communities and the nation to speak and act against all threats to human life, especially those directed against children and the elderly. The Center employs the experience and talents of Anna Maria’s faculty in Social Work, Nursing, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, Education, Human Services Administration and Fire Science to create training programs in conjunction with a variety of external agencies such as the Massachusetts State Police and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Some of the topics include: ¨ Creating Safe Schools ¨ Child Abduction ¨ Scams Against the Elderly ¨ Internet Crime & Safety ¨ Victim & Family Counseling ¨ Child Identification Programs ¨ Domestic Elder Abuse and Neglect ¨ Missing Elder Search Strategies ¨ Institutional Elder Abuse and Neglect ¨ Forensic Science
